If you've never tried tornado potatoes (aka spiral potatoes) you're in for a real treat! We've teamed up with @athleticrecipes to bring you this delicious #SALTYRecipe.
ROASTED GARLIC TORNADO POTATOESPrep Time: 10 min

Yield: 2 servings
2 Yukon or small Russet potatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tbsp Salty Provisions ROASTED GARLIC Flake Sea Salt*
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
⅛ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried chives
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Insert skewers into the center of each potato and use a small knife to spiral the potato. Fan out the potato down the length of the skewer.
- Brush the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle on the Salty Provisions ROASTED GARLIC Flake Sea Salt*, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and dried chives. Try to get the seasonings in between the gaps on to the potato directly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are soft and golden brown. Enjoy while hot.
*Recommendation: This recipe can be made with any Salty Provisions flavor. If using a blended flavor like HOT SALT or COFFEE SALT, you may omit the onion powder, paprika, black pepper or dried chives. The blended seasonings already include these ingredients.
