COMPOUND BUTTER made with Double Onion + Roasted Garlic Flake Sea Salt

Yields 1/2 lb. compound butter

1/2 pound unsalted butter, room temperature
4 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
1-2 teaspoon SALTY PROVISIONS' Double Onion + Roasted Garlic Flake Sea Salt, salt to taste

Add a dash of oil to a small pan. Over medium heat, add minced garlic cloves and saute until lightly golden brown and a bit crispy. Watch closely so they do not burn.

Remove from heat, drain on a paper towel and cool to room temperature.

Add room temperature butter to a bowl of a stand mixer. Using the whisk attachment, beat butter on low until mixed. Turn setting to high and whip butter for about 5 minutes, until light and fluffy and butter turns from yellow to white.

Add roasted garlic, chives, and SALTY PROVISIONS' Double Onion + Roasted Garlic Flake Sea Salt and whip it on low just until it is incorporated. Taste, and adjust for more salt as needed.

Transfer butter onto a piece to plastic wrap and form into a log. Wrap tightly with plastic and place in the fridge. Slice rounds off as needed.

Melt onto a perfectly cooked steak, or fresh steamed veggies.

NOTE: This recipe will work with any of our SALTY PROVISIONS infused sea salts and seasoning blends. Just adjust the quantity used in the recipe to your desired taste profile. Yum!
